Football Game Preview: Columbia Eagles vs. Redan Raiders + Official Tickets

Columbia is a perfect 4-0 against Redan since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Columbia is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 26-20 W against Miller Grove.

Columbia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Czar Daniels, who threw for 190 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Daniels a new career-high in passer rating (163.2).

Redan never got on the board in their matchup on October 2nd, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Salem on Friday. They breezed past the Seminoles to the tune of 47-7. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Raiders' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Redan's record is now 3-5. As for Columbia, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Columbia against Redan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 44-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
