Basketball Recap: West Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

West won the last time they faced Alvarado and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 47-27 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was West's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points on average over those games. As for Alvarado, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, West will face off against Riesel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alvarado, they will square off against Grandview at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
