Hampton won against Hermitage last Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Hampton Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Harmony Grove Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since February 26, 2024.

Hampton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harmony Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hampton will face off against Smackover at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harmony Grove, they will challenge Drew Central at 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
