Basketball Recap: Olive Branch's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Olive Branch lost against Tupelo back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Conquistadors fell 64-53 to the Golden Wave. The loss put an end to the Conquistadors' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Olive Branch fell to 2-1. As for Tupelo, the victory was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will host Horn Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tupelo, they will welcome Starkville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
