Glen Allen and Hermitage are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Jaguars will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hermitage will be up against a hot Glen Allen team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Jaguars breezed past Godwin to the tune of 46-7 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hermitage challenged J.R. Tucker on Thursday. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 69-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-0.

Glen Allen better keep an eye on Avery Curtis. He was instrumental in Hermitage's win, rushing for 158 yards and four TDs on only eight carries. Curtis' longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Yeanay, who threw for 115 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Hermitage was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 187 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Hermitage's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Glen Allen, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Glen Allen beat Hermitage 23-16 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
