Basketball Game Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Trinity Celtics

The El Dorado Wildcats will head out to face off against the Trinity Celtics at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

El Dorado is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Cheney and fell 90-32.

Sam Greene was El Dorado's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Zac Jacobs held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 78-67 to Wellington. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (55), the Celtics still had to take the loss.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for El Dorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

El Dorado couldn't quite finish off Trinity when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 49-47. Can El Dorado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
