Johnson County Central put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Auburn Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Johnson County Central was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Ashley Beethe paced Johnson County Central's offense, picking up 25 kills. Beethe got some help from Riley Wellensiek and her 35 assists. Wellensiek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Johnson County Central's record is now 23-0. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Johnson County Central will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Elmwood-Murdock on the 20th. As for Auburn, they will square off against Boys Town at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
