Milan waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the South Dearborn Knights as they made off with a 9-3 win. With that victory, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Caydin Davidson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Langferman, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Milan's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for South Dearborn, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Milan will be playing at home against Switzerland County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Dearborn, they will venture away from home to challenge Lawrenceburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
