Softball Recap: Hawkins Sets Scoring Season-High Against George Washington Prep

Hawkins scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 42-30 to the George Washington Prep Generals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (12), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Hawkins is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for George Washington Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hawkins will take on rival Crenshaw at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, George Washington Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Jordan at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
