Plainville can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hill City Ringnecks. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Plainville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Plainville's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Hill City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
