Baseball Recap: East Davidson Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

East Davidson's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lexington Yellowjackets a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

East Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lexington, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

As of now, neither East Davidson nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
