Basketball Recap: Northwood-Kensett's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Northwood-Kensett put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 59-41 win over the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Northwood-Kensett pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for West Bend-Mallard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Northwood-Kensett and Central Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. West Bend-Mallard will take on North Iowa in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
