Soccer Recap: Chapel Field Christian Comes Up Short

Chapel Field Christian lost against Burke Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of Burke Catholic by a score of 3-2. David Acuna was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-5. As for Burke Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Chapel Field Christian will take on Fallsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burke Catholic, they will face off against SS Seward at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
