Football Game Preview: Vancleave vs. Perry Central

On Friday Vancleave take on Perry Central at PERRY CENTRAL HS at 7:00 PM. Vancleave are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Vancleave were close but not close enough last Friday as they fell 35-38 to Long Beach. Vancleave got a solid performance out of senior C.j. Johnson, who rushed for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.

Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their game two weeks ago, Perry Central were humbled. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-35 to Columbia. Perry Central were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
