Soccer Game Preview: Fremont Christian vs. California Crosspoint

The Fremont Christian Warriors will head out to challenge the California Crosspoint Rams on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While Fremont Christian's victory against Brave Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors beat the Lions by a goal, winning 1-0. The win continues a trend for Fremont Christian in their matchups with Brave Christian: they've now won five in a row.

Fremont Christian's one-goal win came courtesy of Jerry Yang, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, California Crosspoint hasn't lost a match since September 9th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Quarry Lane finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. That draw made it three straight for California Crosspoint.

California Crosspoint's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-4. As for Fremont Christian, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-10.

Fremont Christian came up short against California Crosspoint in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
