Basketball Recap: Poston Butte Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

Poston Butte waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 48-29 win over the Crismon Rattlers.

Poston Butte had a senior duo take command as Symirah Gray went 13 for 22 on her way to 36 points in addition to eight steals and six rebounds and Lauren Hansen posted ten points along with seven boards and seven steals. The game was Gray's 16th in a row with at least ten points.

Poston Butte has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Crismon, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Poston Butte has already played their next matchup (against Eastmark), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crismon will square off against Tempe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crismon is facing Tempe at the right time seeing as Tempe is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
