Baseball Game Preview: Pilot Point Bearcats vs. Callisburg Wildcats

For the second straight game, Pilot Point will face off against Callisburg. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pilot Point Bearcats face off against Callisburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Pilot Point fell victim to Callisburg and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0.

Pilot Point saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Conner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win was the third in a row for Callisburg, bringing their record up to 13-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pilot Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
