Basketball Game Preview: Racine Lutheran Crusaders vs. Shoreland Lutheran Pacers

The Racine Lutheran Crusaders will head out to square off against the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 18 consecutive losses for Racine Lutheran and ten for Shoreland Lutheran.

Last Wednesday, Racine Lutheran was beaten by Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran 79-50. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Shoreland Lutheran played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 63-33 loss at the hands of Dominican.

Racine Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Shoreland Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Things could have been worse for Racine Lutheran, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-40 loss to Shoreland Lutheran when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Racine Lutheran avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
