Volleyball Recap: Plano Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Plano lost against Morris back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Reapers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Morris.

While Plano ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20.

Morris' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Jepson, who had seven digs and two aces.

Plano has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Morris, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Plano and Woodstock North will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Morris, they will be taking part in a tournament against Elmwood Park at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
