Basketball Recap: Excel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Excel Christian Academy lost against Oakwood Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Excel Christian Academy Eagles were beaten by the Oakwood Christian Eagles 58-29.

Despite the loss, Excel Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Chae Vieira, who posted 24 points. Vieira's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Excel Christian Academy dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oakwood Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Excel Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Covenant Christian School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakwood Christian, they will be playing at home against Excel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
