Baseball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hatley had lost four straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 4-10 to make it five. They came up short against the Hamilton Aggies, falling 20-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Tigers haven't been shut out since back in February.

As for Hamilton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5. That 20-run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Hamilton's part, Trent Williams and Mason Holloway did most of the damage at the plate: Williams got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base, while Holloway went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and one RBI. That's the most runs Holloway has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Frederick, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Looking ahead, Hatley is taking a road trip to square off against Walnut at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for the Aggies, they will be playing at home against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aggies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
