Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Van Meter). They came out on top against the Winterset Huskies by a score of 11-7 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Van Meter's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Winterset, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Van Meter will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair will be back at it again later today.
