Big Game from Johnson As Memorial Fell 45-42

Starting off the list is Memorial's Kenji Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.

Memorial moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Johnson and Memorial will head out to take on Lubbock-Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

For the season, Ewing has averaged 73.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 20.38 rushing yards per game.
