Volleyball Recap: Appalachian Christian School Comes Up Short

Appalachian Christian School lost against Ridgeview Christian two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trailblazers lost 3-0 to the Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-8.

Leading Ridgeview Christian to victory were Sadie Corbin and Avery Alexander. Corbin had 12 digs and three aces, while Alexander had three digs and three aces. Corbin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Appalachian Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ridgeview Christian, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Appalachian Christian School will challenge rival Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ridgeview Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Blue Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
