Basketball Game Preview: Hephzibah Rebels vs. Westside Patriots

The Hephzibah Rebels are taking a road trip to take on the Westside Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westside took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hephzibah, who comes in off a win.

Hephzibah took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 43-38 win over Harlem.

Meanwhile, Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 39th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Baldwin, falling 86-16. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while the Braves are ranked 109th).

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Hephzibah, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-16.

Everything came up roses for Hephzibah against Westside when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 63-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hephzibah since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
