Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Davis Darts
The Fremont Silverwolves were the 47-33 winner over the Davis Darts when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Fremont lost to Davis at home by a decisive 45-28 margin on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fremont has scored all season.
Fremont's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Abigail Christensen, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds, and Syncere Langston who scored six points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Christensen has scored all season.
It was another big night for Kendra Kitchen, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds for Davis. Kitchen is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was T'Maea Eteuati, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Fremont has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Davis, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Fremont will head out on the road to face off against Farmington at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington is on a four-game streak of home losses, Fremont a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Davis will take on Layton at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Layton aren't just struggling at home either: they haven't won a game anywhere since December 19, 2023.
