The matchup between Northwest and Lexington on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Vikings put the hurt on the Minutemen with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering Northwest have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lexington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evie Keller (4), Guadalupe Sanchez (4), Anna Keller (2), and Ava Smith.

Northwest's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five games. As for Lexington, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Northwest will face off against Scotus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Scotus will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Northwest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington, they will welcome Crete on Saturday.
