Franklin dropped their record down to 9-9 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  11-0 to the Grove City Eagles. The  game marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.
 Franklin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Drew Kockler, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
As for Grove City, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-13. The  match marked their most dominant  win of the  season.
 On Grove City's side,  Jaxen Pyle was  incredible,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  three  RBI gave  Pyle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Gilmore, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will take on Oil City at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Grove City, they will challenge Clarion Area at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
