Schurr is a perfect 10-0 against Montebello since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Oilers at 5:15 p.m. Montebello took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Schurr, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Schurr made easy work of Mark Keppel and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Schurr won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 24-17.

Meanwhile, Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to San Gabriel.

Montebello's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Schurr, their victory bumped their record up to 11-19.

Everything went Schurr's way against Montebello when the teams last played back in September, as Schurr made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
