Basketball Recap: Omak Comes Up Short

After flying high against Manson on Friday, Omak came back down to earth. The Omak Pioneers came up short against the Rogers Pirates on Saturday, falling 60-40. The match marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Omak has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Rogers, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.

Omak has already played their next game (against Lake Roosevelt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rogers will take on North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Rogers likes a good challenge.
