Soccer Recap: James Island Takes a Loss

After flying high against Myrtle Beach on Monday, James Island came back down to earth. The James Island Trojans came up short against the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Landsharks when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

James Island's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Island will venture away from home to challenge Wando at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wando will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something James Island surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lucy Beckham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
