Mt. Vernon had won two straight games and Luke Ertel did his part to make it three on Friday. The Mt. Vernon Marauders were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over the Delta Eagles thanks in part to Ertel, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Parra, who posted 16 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.
