Basketball Recap: Hellgate's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Hellgate lost to Glacier back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hellgate Knights managed a 56-52 win over the Glacier Wolfpack. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zane Gillhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Easton Sant was another key player, putting up nine points and eight assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Hellgate and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Glacier, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Hellgate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-56 win against Flathead on the 1st. Glacier has also already played their next contest (against Sentinel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
