With a playoff win on the line, Washington-Wilkes rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Seminole County Indians as they made off with a 64-39 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Washington-Wilkes' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Bankston, who went 7-for-11 on her way to 15 points and four steals. Those 15 points gave Bankston a new career-high. Samaria Young was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Washington-Wilkes was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Washington-Wilkes pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Seminole County, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-6.

Looking ahead, Washington-Wilkes will challenge Telfair County on Tuesday. Telfair County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. Seminole County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
