Baseball Game Preview: Acton-Boxborough Revolution vs. Bedford Buccaneers

The Acton-Boxborough Revolution will head out on the road to face off against the Bedford Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Acton-Boxborough is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Acton-Boxborough fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Weston on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Evan Koh was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Bedford came up short against Westford Academy on Friday, falling 7-1. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Grey Ghosts recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Acton-Boxborough's record is now 4-9. As for Bedford, their record now sits at 3-6-1.

Everything went Acton-Boxborough's way against Bedford when the teams last played back in April, as Acton-Boxborough made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Revolution since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
