Softball Recap: Central Bucks East Takes a Loss

Central Bucks East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 9-4 to the Harry S. Truman Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 13-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Anna Devine made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Central Bucks East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Harry S. Truman, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Bucks East will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cheltenham at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Harry S. Truman, they will head out to face off against Gwynedd Mercy Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
