Baseball Recap: Chino Valley Takes a Loss

Chino Valley suffered their closest loss since April 4, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Parker Broncs by a score of 8-6. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Ryan Lamotte made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Chino Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season. As for Parker, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Chino Valley will venture away from home to take on Winslow at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parker, they will welcome Mohave Accelerated at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Broncs surely won't give up without a fight.
