Baseball Recap: Har-Ber Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Har-Ber won the last time they faced Bentonville West and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 4-1.

BLAINE VAN HILSEN spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on BROOKS BAXENDALE, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of DAVIS DYER, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Har-Ber has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bentonville West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
