Millers Creek Christian suffered their closest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of the Millennium Lions by a score of 46-43. Millers Creek Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Millennium earlier this season, when they won 53-37.

Millers Creek Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah McClain, who went 6 for 10 en route to 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Julian Houpe, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Millers Creek Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Millennium, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
