Recap: Ballston Spa Scotties vs. Chittenango Bears
The Ballston Spa Scotties pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-63 to Chittenango. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (60), Ballston Spa still had to take the loss.
Ryan Moesch was his usual excellent self, scoring 40 points along with 7 steals and 6 assists for Chittenango. The matchup was Moesch's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jacob Bell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Ballston Spa's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Chittenango, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Ballston Spa will head out on the road to face off against Averill Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Averill Park is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Chittenango, they will be playing at home against Marcellus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Marcellus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
