Baseball Recap: Roseville Comes Up Short

Roseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cousino Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 on Monday.

Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Cousino, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

While Roseville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
