Volleyball Recap: Pateros Triumphs

While Pateros's win against Thorp wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Billygoats/Nannies had just enough and edged out Thorp 3-2 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Billygoats/Nannies in their matchups with Thorp: they've now won three in a row.

Pateros wouldn't go down easily and took Thorp into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-12, 25-13, 23-25, 27-25.

Pateros picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Thorp, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Pateros will take on Waterville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thorp, they will head out to take on Wilson Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
