Basketball Recap: Watts Comes Up Short

Watts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Cave Springs Hornets 49-13. While losing is never fun, the Engineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 468th, while the Hornets are ranked 218th).

Watts' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cave Springs, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Watts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-14 win against Bokoshe on the 31st. Cave Springs has also already played their next match (against Braggs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
