Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clay). They blew past the Green Bobcats 11-0 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Laney Shepherd was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Shepherd was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elin Shaw, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lynsey Loop, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
