McKeesport barely beat Gateway the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 13-2 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ryenn Thomas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while going 3-for-4.
