Basketball Recap: Laporte Wildcats vs. Kelliher/Northome Mustangs
Laporte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 91-25 defeat at the hands of the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Mustangs are ranked 164th).
Kelliher/Northome's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kate Thayer led the charge by dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten steals.
