Franklin took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Sunapee, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tornadoes won by a run and slipped past the Lakers 8-7. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tornadoes as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Sunapee, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
