It was a good run, but Seaforth unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 6-3 to the Northwood Chargers. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Seaforth's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-7. As for Northwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Seaforth will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southeast Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Stallions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Northwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-4 win against Southwestern Randolph on the 2nd.
