Football Recap: Braydon Davis and Julio Vargas Jr Secure Win for Sultan + How To Watch

Sultan won the last time they faced Lynnwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Turks blew past the Royals 41-16. That looming 41-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Turks yet this season.

A big part of Sultan's win came down to the chemistry between Braydon Davis and his top target Julio Vargas Jr. Davis rushed for 54 yards and one score while Vargas Jr gained 104 total yards and three touchdowns. Those 54 rushing yards gave Davis a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Lynnwood had strong showings from Rhythm Karki, who rushed for 96 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and Ty Jensen, who rushed for 82 yards on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 64 yards.

Sultan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Lynnwood, their record is now 0-6.
