Basketball Recap: Federal Way's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Federal Way needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Jaieunna Kier. The Federal Way Eagles walked away with a 44-31 victory over the Jefferson Raiders on Thursday thanks in part to Kier, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Bianca Lopez-Ventura was another key player, putting up seven points and nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

Federal Way's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13. As for Jefferson, they moved to 12-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Federal Way nor Jefferson have any future games scheduled.
